📃 Ingredients of Tunisian fricassee

The 7 ingredients to make Fricassee are:

  • 3 steamed potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 handful of black or green olives
  • 200g of plain tuna
  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper
  • harissa

For the bread:

  • 400g of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 5g of baking powder
  • 30g of baker's yeast
  • 1 half a teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • water

With these quantities, you will be able to serve fricassee to approximately 10 people. You just have to adapt these measures according to the number of covers.

How to prepare Tunisian fricassee?

You will have a total of 25 minutes, between the preparation and cooking of tunisian fricassee. Here are the 7 Steps required to prepare this recipe.

Step 1

  • Mix all the bread ingredients together and add water little by little until you get a smooth dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

Step 2

  • 10 minutes later, shape the rolls into an oval or round shape. Let your rolls rest for 1 hour.

Step 3

  • Then heat the oil and start to fry your buns until golden brown.

Step 4

  • Mix all the stuffing ingredients together (except the harissa).

Step 5

  • Open the bread with scissors and fill it with the stuffing.

Step 6

  • Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 7

  • Take out of the oven and pour in the honey immediately.
